Professor James Wright has recently achieved the
remarkable milestone of being promoted to the 5th
Degree Black Belt in Pancrase Mixed Martial Arts.
With a career spanning over three decades, Professor
Wright is a seasoned professional in the field of
martial arts, possessing extensive training,
coaching, and instructional experience. He has been
an influential figure in Pancrase MMA for close to
20 years, and his exceptional achievements were
recognized by his induction into the World Karate
Union Black Belt Hall of Fame.
Aside
from his latest accolade, Professor Wright holds
numerous other black belt degrees across a range of
martial arts. In mixed martial arts, he is a Black
Belt Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner. In
traditional martial arts, he has achieved a 6th
Degree in Fudozen Shorinji Kempo, as well as a 2nd
Degree in Go Ju Ryu, and 1st Dan in Goshin Jutsu
Yudansha Kai, Shotokan, and Tae Kwon Do.
Additionally, he is a Black Belt Instructor in
Combative Arts, with credentials as a Marine Corps
Line Training expert, Close Combat Instructor,
Marine Corps Martial Arts Program expert, and Kru in
Black Tiger Muay Thai.

to Black Belt of Pancrase MMA.

of all our teammates, our kids took second as kidsteam
over all, an we took 1st place for the second year
in a row as Academy Gi and No Gi, all of our
teammates made podium and I was able to secure all 4
Gold medals in the adult Gi weight division, and
Open, and the Adult No Gi weight and Open division,.
This was a special win as this is my last
competition as the head coach as CXBJJ Iwakuni
